Using PingStep

You may use PingStep to receive lifecycle events from jobs you are authorized to monitor. Keep job names and event data non-sensitive. Do not send credentials, raw logs, personal data, customer records, or restricted data.

Your responsibility

You control the scripts, tokens, and systems that send updates. Protect job and viewer tokens like passwords. Do not rely on PingStep as the only safeguard for a critical process; maintain your own operational controls and backups.

Billing, plan changes, and refunds

Paid subscriptions and plan changes are processed by Stripe. Upgrades take effect immediately, and Stripe charges the prorated difference. Downgrades take effect immediately, and unused paid value becomes a Stripe credit toward future invoices. PingStep does not provide manual plan changes or cash refunds for plan changes. Manage subscriptions and billing details in Stripe. This policy does not limit rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

Service availability

PingStep is provided as available. We may change, pause, or discontinue the service. Status information reflects events received by PingStep and may be delayed or unavailable during an outage.
